Lalibela Rock churches, the 17th century Gonderian castles, single standing stlea of Axum are acknowledged by UNESCO as a world heritage. Ethiopia is also stand at the first step in Africa for its 7 World heritage sites. The southern part is place where you can learn about many ethnic groups of Ethiopia their unique culture and way of life .This area is also rich in natural attractions, landscape, lakes and wildlife. Day 1 Arrival in Addis Ababa You will be welcomed by Feres Meda travel and tours representative and transfer to Hotel (Kaleb hotel 4*) Depending on Your flight schedule City tour of Addis will be arranged which includes Trinity Cathedral-a beautiful church with a baroque style of European Architecture unique to both Ethiopia and Africa, National Museum-the home of the famous complete hominid fossil remain of Lucy dated 3.5 millions years back, Ethnological Museum-presents different collections to have an overview of the history, culture, tradition and religions of almost all tribal groups in Ethiopia, St. George Cathedral and Museum-a historical church with the traditional Ethiopian Orthodox Church architecture founded by Emperor Menelik-II, Mount Entoto panoramic view point at the highest pick in Addis with an altitude of 3200 meters, The Merkato: the biggest open air market in Africa. Day 2 Bahirdar Early in the morning transferred to Bole International airport and fly to Bahirdar . After check in to the hotel , drive to the mighty Blue Nile falls, commonly known as "Tiss Isat". Upon return, make a sightseeing tour of Bahar Dar. After lunch, you will have boat excursion on Lake Tana, to visit the ancient monasteries on the lake. Overnight stay will be in Abay Minch lodge Day 3 Gondar After Breakfast Drive some 180KM to Gondar nice drive and visit the 17th century royal enclosure of King Fasiledes ,Fasiledes bath and the icon rich church Debrebirihan Silase church.O/N Goha Hotel in Gondar Day 4 Axum Fly to Axum: After breakfast transferred to Gondar airport and fly to Axum .City tour of Axum which includes the stales, tombs and St. Marry Zion church which has kept the original arch or the covenant for ages. overnight will be Yeha Hotel Day 5 Lalibella Fly to Lalibella: Fly to the legendary town Lalibela and Visit the 8th wonder of the world the rock hewn churches of king Lalibela. Mount View hotel Day 6: Lalibella and surrounding Have half day optional excursion to visit some of the rock hewn churches around Lalibella town built prior to the churches in the town. In addition to the architecture of the churches, here you will admire the panoramic view of the town with the surrounding beautiful sceneries. Return to Lalibella for lunch. After lunch visit the remaining churches of the 11 monolithic rock-hewn churches in Lalibella town. Overnight stay will be in Mount view Hotel Day 7 Addis Ababa Fly back to Addis from Lalibela and leasure day for the group befor departing to the south tour .overnight Kaleb Hotel . Day Fly to Arbaminch Fly to Arbaminch and after check in the hotel drive some 40 KM to Chencha village to Visit the famous Dorze village overnight paradise lodge in Arbaminch Day 9 Arbaminch- Jinka Drive to Jinka on the way visit the Tsemay, Bena and the Ari ethnic groups with their untouched culture (if it is Thursday you will visit the colorful market of Key Afer), overnight Jinka resort Day 10 Jinka- Mursi- Jinka After breakfast drive to Mago national park and proceed to Mursi village to visit the Mursi people, whose females put lip plates on their lower lip. Drive back to Jinka for lunch, after lunch visit the Ari village or the museum in the town. Overnight Jinka resort Day 11 Jinka -Turmi After breakfast drive to Turmi-On the way visit the Tsemay ethnic group and the most Colorful market in the Omo valley- Key Afer market if it is Thursday and the Dimeka market if it is Tuesday . Over Night Buska lodge Day 12 Turmi – Murule – Turmi In the morning drive to Murule to visit the Karo Ethnic group who are very well known for their body painting and their fascinating houses. Drive back to Turmi for over night, and visit market of Turmi if the day is Monday or Market of Dimeka if it is Tuesday. Overnight Buska lodge Day 13 Drive to back Arbaminch On your way visit the konso Village overnight paradise lodge Arbaminch Day 14 Fly back to Addis Morning take a boat excursion to lake chamo to see the wild African crocodiles and hippos. Afternoon take your flight to Addis Evening farewell dinner at one of the best traditional restaurant in Addis ababa. After dinner transfer out to bole international airport for your departure home .
