We go through the Patagonic-Andean forest in an an area where trees have more foliage, characteristic by the amount of rain fall during the year, known as Valdivean Jungle.

After leaving the Nonthué behind us and a in few minutes, we arrive at the Hua Hum waters. (“hole in the sky” In Mapuche, the local Indian´s tounge)

Little by litlle the boat gets deeper and deeper into the steep cliffs. Coihues1, arrayanes2, ferns, leaves of nalcas3, aljabas4, ñires5 and lengas6 multiply at every step of the way.

We pass by the Chilean milestone that marks the limit between both countries. During the 8 kilometers of the raft tour, we pass by a total of five rapids, and four“correderas”, that´s smaller rapids with less level of difficulty. There´s a rapid with thermal water, where we stop for a while and can go for a swim. Here you will be able to see ducks, herons and king fish birds. Then we pass by the “Indian Head” rapid and a few kilometers ahead, by the tumbling stone, were adrenaline reach its peak.
